Davis lost a tooth this week. The toothfairy forgot to come. The toothfairy feels very bad and the next night she writes a note for Davis explaining what happened and also telling him it would be the last time she would come to visit. He has lost all his baby teeth and the toothfairy felt like this was a reasonable situation. She even left double the money. Davis shows the note to his mom and begins to read it to her. Sweet Davis begins to tear up when he gets to the last visit part of the note. The toothfairy feels so bad about ending things this way. She just thought that by the time the molars begin to come out, big boys would not care about toothfairy visits and the note would have been a sweet reminder of innocent times. She did not mean to cause tears. Mom (now thinking of herself as a very mean toothfairy) had to excuse herself from the room and shed a tear of her own.
