The Voice of Truth

Most of the people I know of that read my blog know the job "situation" we have been in during these last few months. If you don't know, I'll spare you the details, but this week Jason resigned from his job. During this time, my emotions have been all over the place, sad, scared, mad...but lately peace has been the prevailing one. Peace that only comes from God, because I assure you, there is no way it is in me without him! God has given me so many gifts in these past few weeks, reminders of his presence in our lives and reassurance that HE is in control of the situation. I was praying in the car yesterday morning and I got another gift in the form of a song on the radio:

But the VOICE OF TRUTH tells me a different story,


The Voice of Truth says, "Do not be afraid."


And the Voice of Truth says, "This is for my glory."


Out of all the voices calling out to me, I will choose to listen and believe the VOICE OF TRUTH.

We are not the only ones facing a "giant" right now. After Jason resigned, things just got even more complicated. We have lots of decisions to make about trying to stay with his job or cut our losses and move on. I am grateful for so many things. My husband is a tallented, hard working engineer and we are in this together. Every day, I wake up in a bed, usually because my healthy children are climbing in on top of me. We have food to eat, clothes to wear. Our needs our met, abundantly! God is on our side and no matter what happens, I pray what we do in these next few weeks or months will bring him glory.
