This morning was Davis' final basketball game of the season. I am always amazed how much they learn and how far they come in 8-10 weeks. He has never played any team sport other than soccer and he was not sure how well he would like basketball. When asked this morning, are you glad you gave it a try..."YES!" Isn't that what youth team sports are suposed to about, trying new things, doing your best and having fun. Too often kids are beaten down by bad coaching and over zealous parents. How sad. I am proud of Davis and his team. They won some, they lost some, but every game is the same, "we won because we had fun!" Go Jets!!
