Davis came home last week with a final project for the end of the year. They were to choose an animal, research the animal, write a report and create a diorama. Oh, and they have to give an oral report to their class. Yes, this is 1st Grade!! He has worked so hard. He chose a Gila Monster and we have learned all about them! This is his diorama he created. He made his Gila Monster from play dough and we collected rock and sticks from outside to create his desert. Davis "arranged" the scene and I helped him hot glue everything in place. He has also written 5 pages for his report. And it was done early!! He definitely does not take after his mother in this category!! Way to go Davis, you did well.
