At Davis' school, they have a program called "Character Counts." Each week, they have a new character trait that they learn about and hopefully put into practice. Last week it was respect. Then on Monday of the next week (that would be today) teachers can select a student they believe did an extra special job showing the trait they had learned about. This morning, Davis was selected as a student who shows respect. You get to be on the morning announcements with the other respectful students. He got a pencil and bracelet and his class got to go around and tell him how they also think he is respectful of others. Very cool and we are very proud!!
