3 am Baby crying...Tylenol and feeding and back to sleep.
5:30 am Baby crying again. Quick feeding interupted by 2 year old crying because Dadus is throwing up. Daddy up, baby in crib screaming due to interupted feeding, 2 year old crying because his big brother is sick, big brother holding his own in the bathroom while throw up sheets come off top bunk.
5:40 am 2 year old re-assurred it is ok to go back to sleep. 7 year old settled on couch, mommy scrubbing hands and changing pj's so baby can get his fill.
6:00 am All quiet is sounded and mommy crawls back into bed for a short nap.
6:30 am 2 year old up again, this time has peed through his jammies. Bed wet. New jammies applied and snuggles commence in mommys bed due to no extra clean sheets available at this time.
7:15 am 7 year old again. Everyone up.
7:30 am Bowl of cereal with milk spilled by 2 year old. Mommy trying VERY hard to remain patient and desperate for the first sip of coffee.
8:40 am Sanity time as the one healthy member of the young Frey Guys gets to go to school. Consultation with 7 year old results in decision to leave him parked on couch with towels rather than dress and drag on a ride to school.
9:00 am Mommy avoids all speeder seeking, ticket giving police officers as she pulls into parking lot at Parkway Christian Pre-school. Inserts 2 year old into class with a modified prayer....please don't throw up at school.
9:10 am Mommy arrives back home to find 7 year old still on couch with no more incidents to report. Baby who is still running low fever with no other obvious symptoms goes down for nap. Let the germ warfare begin.
1 out of 3 ain't bad.
And please say a little prayer for the speedy recovery of Davis, who is very worried he will not be able to go on his field trip tomorrow to see the Flat Stanley Musical.

When you dream of being a mom, somehow the thoughts of these kinds of days don't enter your mind. I am often caught saying, I didn't sign up for this! Hope you are getting some rest!
