We loaded up and hit the road for a much needed vacation. Colorado Springs, CO was the perfect destination considering:
1. A 65th Anniversary Celebration was planned for Jason's grandparents!
2. Jason's parents caravaned with us and we unloaded a kid into their car for much of the LONG drive.
3. First class "hotel" accomodations were available for a GREAT price with Uncle David and Aunt Sheryl. Our suite included 3 bedrooms, a view of the mountains, a newly renovated spa bathroom and breakfast.
4. Lots of fun things to do!
We arrived on Friday and the fun began with a trip to Fargo's for some Big Red Pizza and arcade fun.
Saturday morning we toured the Air Force Academy Campus. It is a beautiful place nestled in the mountains. We saw planes flying, sky diving, toured the magnificent chapel and enjoyed seeing the air plane displays spread across the campus!
The Frey Guys loved the planes!
If you look really really carefully, you might see the parachutes falling through the sky!!
