Tonsil Trooper!

Davis...bright and early before all the fun began.

They took Davis back for surgery right on time and the surgery went very well. When the Dr came to talk to us, she said his tonsils were "deceptively large" and she could tell they were chronically infected and that it was good they came out. He had a bit of a tough time waking up. He was upset when he saw the IV in his hand but once he started to eat some popsicles, he was better. By the time we were leaving, he had charmed the nurse and she sent him home with lots of doctor gear and even his IV bag!! It is hard to keep a tough guy down and once we were home, he could hardly stay still. He is starving constantly since soft diet foods tend not to be his favorites. I am so proud of him and I am praying this will take car of all his strep problems!!!
